ASPEL Catalyzer

are designed to help Learning professionals keep abreast of developments in the field and to provide an opportunity to make contact with peers for both personal benefit and for the benefit of the wider community.

Each event is short (2 to 3 hours) and is usually in three parts:

1. One or more mini-presentations by experts on a topic (or topics) of interest to Learning professionals
2. Collecting and collating knowledge for the benefit of the wider community
3. Networking over drinks and snacks

Catalyzers are free to ASPEL members and invitees.

Each Catalyzer is immediately followed by an optional dinner to allow for in-depth discussion and relationship-building. The dinner incurs a fee depending on the rate agreed with the venue.
